hi, i’m kelly

(she/her)

I grew up in the Midwest near Lake Michigan—summers filled with sandy days at the beach and winters with snow forts and sledding. I remember long days outside—picking wild strawberries, jumping in piles of leaves, climbing trees, learning the constellations, and playing in the rain. Though I didn’t know it then, these early experiences of being with the seasons would later shape my healing and my work.

In my early twenties, a series of health challenges led me to explore care beyond conventional medicine. I began learning about where my food came from, and how to listen to and nourish my body. I spent the next decade in the world of food and agriculture—supporting small producers, community businesses, and national brands through storytelling and strategy. That work taught me how wellness, economy, and ecology intertwine and sparked an interest in understanding healing—personal, communal, and systemic—on a deeper level.

In many ways, herbal medicine became that bridge, leading me to clinical training and study of how we can heal ourselves and our communities. Through ongoing learning and practice, I continue to return to the seasonal rhythms I knew in childhood—a praxis that feels part of a deeper process of repair, grounded in small, sustainable shifts that invite re/connection to self, to others, and to the earth and its natural cycles.

Weaving together herbal medicine, nutrition, and somatic practices, my offerings support the body’s natural capacity for balance and resilience. I’m especially interested in supporting stress, digestion, sleep, emotional health, and menstrual cycles—places where the nervous, digestive, and endocrine systems intersect. However someone arrives, I hope they feel welcomed, resourced, and empowered in their own process.

“as you heal yourself with natural medicine in the form of food and herbs, an additional gift is that the plants begin to reawaken your senses, and with that, your trust in your own perception grows.

it is both empowering and liberating to trust your own senses
(no doubt that’s why it’s so frowned upon)”
